The BRIGADE courses offered are hybrid courses, meaning you can attend the course online or at the TECHNIA office in Lund, Sweden. It is also possible to arrange the course at your office (depending on the number of participants), please use the enquiry buttons below to get in touch.

Course objective:

The 1-day introduction course to BRIGADE/Plus covers everything from building a model to evaluating results and includes. For the 1-day introduction course NO workshop segment is included during the course day. Instead, the course attendees have the option to complete the workshop after the course. It is then possible to contact the course instructor to ask questions. (Choose the 2-day introduction course if you prefer to have an instructor-led workshop).

This course covers the topics below. Theory is alternated with the instructor showing/demo some of the common tasks when working in BRIGADE/Plus.

Day 1:

• Creating geometry
• Assigning material and section properties
• Assembly of geometric parts
• Adding interactions between different parts
• Creating analysis procedures (Steps) and requesting results (Output)

Day 2

• Assigning loads and boundary conditions
• Assigning moving loads
• Definition of load groups and load combinations
• Meshing the model
• Job management and result visualization

Who should attend?

This course is for beginners, some knowledge in Finite Element Analysis is required.
